Emerging Healthcare Solutions Inc.’s  to Release First  Health Care App for Iphone

The company is based out of Houston and is publicly traded under the symbol EHSI. The first app to be released will be an e-911 app designed exclusively for the Apple iPhone. If the app is successful (both in function and popularity) it may be rolled out for other smart phones as well such as the Blackberry and Android.

The e-911 app will make important health information, medical conditions, and contact information available to first responders and other emergency medical workers when 911 is dialed from the patient’s iPhone. This will allow for more effective treatments in a more timely manner. The app will be made available through Apple’s app store and also through the company’s website www.emerginghealthcaresolutionsinc.com.

The company is hoping this application will receive at least a million downloads in it’s first year since they are aiming to release it at a time that app downloads have been skyrocketing. Apple has reported over a billion app downloads since opening it’s app store. Emerging Health Solutions Inc. is also working on other useful medical apps such as MedAnywhere which is anticipated to be ready for release later this month.

There are three other apps under development. AutoMed, an app to help users track the correct time and dosage to take prescriptions. The RxAssist app is designed to help the user quickly find information about the drugs they are taking and discounts. The final app currently being worked on is AltMedFacts which will help users find alternative treatments and stem cell centers outside of the United States.
